Seychelles Weddings

You have chosen a tropical destination for your Special Day, where in certain months of the year we are more likely to experience rain and showers. When you select an outdoor venue as your Seychelles wedding location, the resort will provide an indoor location in case of bad weather – although this comes at no extra charge, it is part of the outdoor venue agreement and has no recourse to the property. We want you to enjoy the most wonderful and fulfilling wedding in Seychelles and with that in mind, we would strongly recommend that you remain flexible with your wedding date to allow for any changes in the weather - upon your arrival, the wedding co-ordinator will discuss the forecast with you and suggest a more appropriate date where necessary.

Right to Amend the Details

Every effort will be made to finalise the wedding plans prior to your arrival. However, we do understand that when you arrive on-site you might want to make changes to the arrangements. Our wedding coordinator will meet with you early in your stay - subject to availability, you may change your venue and add any optional extras.

We regret that pre-booked items cannot be cancelled and services within the wedding packages are non-refundable. Unfortunately, should you need to cancel your plans completely, the deposit is non-refundable after 30 days - within 30 days, 50% of the total cost will be refunded.

Documents Required for Civil Marriage

For your wedding in the Seychelles you will need a current and valid passport and your birth certificates. If either the bride or groom have been divorced or widowed or have changed their name by deed poll or death certificate, the relevant documentation must be provided – we recommend that this paperwork is submitted to us at least 6 weeks prior to your arrival date to give us plenty of time for the necessary arrangements to be made; those getting married MUST travel with the original documents – for further advice, please contact the Sales Team at Savoy Resort & Spa.

Savoy Seychelles wedding ceremonies are conducted by a Registrar in accordance with Seychelles Law. Available from Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays), the date will be selected subject to the Registrar's availability. The couple will be required to reside at the hotel at least 2 working days prior to the ceremony so that arrangements can be finalised.
