There are 12 officially registered hiking paths. All of them are from each other by the length and difficulty. But everyone can find the path that suits their level of physical training.
Every path offers a tourist to enjoy extraordinary tropical diversity of the island and to admire breathtaking panoramas which open from top sites of paths. The paths start in the different parts of the park. Anse Major trail starts near Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa. It leads to a small hidden beach Anse Major. This path lies along the rocky slopes of the hill.
One of the most popular trails is Mission Lodge trail.
We recommend you to take it as it has a huge historical and cultural value for Seychelles.
The path leads us to the ruins of school once built by English missioners to teach slaves' children. Pass the ruins to reach a small plateau. Standing there you can observe incredible view over the ocean, mountains and other islands of the archipelago.
In 1972 The British Queen Elizabeth had tea there.
